About Home Exterior Check

A small, new service that helps homeowners figure out where their roof stands before they talk to anyone selling a roof.

Home Exterior Check is an independent site based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We started with roofs because the questions homeowners ask most ("how long does a roof last?", "how much does a new roof cost?", "how do I know if a roofer is being straight with me?") have honest answers that depend on the roof itself.

We're early. We don't have years of reviews to show you, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we can offer is a clear check, general price ranges from published sources, and a plain explanation of how we get paid.
